Alev Ozkaynak is a Brooklyn-based visual artist whose main focus is to create large, imaginative, black and white ink drawings with fine pen detail.
The production of these works is often commissioned, or exhibited in various shows in New York.
Most currently Alev was selected to have her work displayed on the Great Wall of Brooklyn: an independent artist-run public art organization launching in the historic Fort Greene neighborhood. This project will allow her work to be blown up and placed on display at the grand scale of 20’ x 50’.
Alev teaches the arts at Trilok-Fusion preschool and gives private lessons to students of all ages. She enjoys working with others in the artistic realm, and seeks to promote creative exploration. Additional projects include various murals, both private and public, architectural perspective drawings for professionals, and designing imagery for tattoo work.
Alev graduated from Pratt Institute in 2008, achieving a BFA for Drawing and Art History with highest honors.
Her works have been exhibited in international fairs in Miami and Paris. |
